Teacher Geek was Common Core Chic at CSU Monterey Bay!

TammyPresentingWe had a great time at CSU Monterey Bay at the Third Annual CSMP Conference this past Saturday, February 9, 2013!  A big thank you to Maria Gutierrez-Stearn of the California International Studies Project for inviting me to join an amazing group of educators for a day of delving deeper in the new Common Core Standards.

As promised to all those who attended the session, here are links to the websites and apps I talked about.  Just click on each name and it will take you right to it!

The websites are FREE.  Most of these apps are FREE, though some now have a small fee.  The best way to make certain you know when they are being offered for FREE (developers love to do this to drum up business), you should check out AppsGoneFree in iTunes.  This is how I get my apps for FREE … just check the site every day for new apps available for free.  Also, don’t hesitate to go into the app store and search for “free education” to find a plethora of apps!

If you have any follow-up questions or if I can be of any assistance, please email me at tdunbar@musd.net or text me at the number I gave out on my flyer at the conference!
