We all know how excited we feel after attending a conference where we’ve had the chance to share and learn new ideas from teachers we wouldn’t normally have an opportunity to interact with.
You can get the same interaction and information and excitement by creating your own Powerful Personal Learning Network.
It might start with a Twitter EdChat (#caedchat) or a Facebook page like WeAreTeachers. You might follow a blog (like this one, among many others) and join in on the conversation. Whatever site or method works best for you is preferable — that way, you’ll be comfortable using it and want to use it even more.
And Summer is a great time to spend a little time chatting with other educators.
